Mentoring

Valley Christian Church places a strong emphasis on mentoring (discipleship). We believe a church should grow bigger and smaller at the same time. The bigger the congregation, the greater the need is for small groups. VCC has both mentoring men’s and mentoring woman’s groups in the church, headed up by Ps. Steve Brammer and Ps. Dee Harris respectively.

Each complete mentoring team is headed up by a core of leaders which is then further divided into smaller groups of 8 – 12 individuals. Individual groups meet independently at least once a month for a time of fellowship, accountability and sharing. All the groups get together once every quarter for a combined time of fellowship and input.

Teaching material by way of DVD or CD is also distributed to each of the members in each respective group. This enables individuals to also partake of valuable spiritual ‘food’ outside of the normal weekly Sunday services.

We strongly encourage all members at VCC to get involved in a mentoring group.
